   Electronic newsletter published quarterly by the STD Information Centre (Theatre Union of Russia) to present news, announcements, reference information, and current trends and problems of the Russian Theatre to the International theatre community.

New Web resource of Theatre Union of Russia - a theatre information gateway for Russia and about Russia – is now online.



The new bilingual resource is designed for both Russian and International theatre professionals, and is to provide information on Theatre Festivals in Russia; News, Announcements, and General Coverage of Russian Theatre Life; International Cultural Cooperation Programs including Events and Festivals, Networking and Funding, relevant Publications.



Rtlb.ru features up-to-date information on all regular Russian theatre festivals with contact information. A search facility is available for visitors to quickly locate any festival by city, genre, or other criteria. In fact, so far this is the only Internet resource to include all regular Russian theatre festivals in a single place in both Russian and English.



International theatre professionals will find useful news and announcements on cultural cooperation opportunities in Russia. The Rtlb.ru Newsletter section provides brief overview of modern Russian Theatre Life, events, and reference information.



International Cultural Cooperation Programs section, mainly addressed to Russian users, provides brief announcements of international projects and events open to Russian theatre professionals: festivals, meetings, networks, funding, training, education, publications. Search and navigation in this section are available to find programs by geographical scope or category.



In near future Rtlb.ru editors are planning to expand the site's coverage further to include quick links to theatre and culture organizations in Russia, Europe, and worldwide.
