   Pro Helvetia is fostering exchange between programme managers of international theatres and festivals and Swiss dance and theatre companies to boost the presence of Swiss dance and theatre productions at home and abroad.

Contacts with the programme managers of international theatre and festivals are crucial for the success of a theatre or dance company. Pro Helvetia is therefore supporting direct encounters with and viewings by specialists from Switzerland and abroad as a contribution to the promotion of Swiss dance and theatre work. Pro Helvetia contributes towards the costs for visits by programme managers who come to view Swiss dance and theatre productions. Forging and maintaining such contacts can make a significant contribution to the success of dance and theatre companies.



Pro Helvetia is assuming the costs of accommodation for event managers who come to view a Swiss production at the invitation of the performing group. The support payment is limited to one person per application. Theatre groups, and now dance companies too, can so make their presence felt to greater extent across linguistic and national borders. To receive this subsidy, the production itself must already be supported by Pro Helvetia.
