   Fondazione Fitzcarraldo organizes on the conference ArtLab 09. Dialogues about cultural management on 18th and 19th September 2009 in Turin, Italy. 

It represents a milestone in the Italian artists, cultural managers and decision makers' agendas, since it is a unique occasion to frankly discuss and to share experiences and ideas about the role of culture in the society.
 

ArtLab 09 invites artists, cultural managers, researchers and decision makers to reflects on the cut of public resources, the role of privates and the renewal of cultural institutions.

At international level, ArtLab 09 will host this year a Practics workshop on cultural mobility aiming at raising awareness and opening up the debate about cross-border cultural mobility in Italy. Italian policy makers and stakeholders of transnational cultural cooperation, with foreign experts and operators, will discuss the Italian situation comparing with that of other countries and will contribute to the mapping of organisations and institutions likely to become a future Italian Infopoint.

Practics is a 3 years EU-funded project involving 11 European partners aiming (among which is IETM) at facilitating the cross-border mobility of cultural professionals through the provision of information by national Infopoints.
