MASTER CLASS WITH EMIL WOLK

In 2008, ACAPTA offers Conference delegates the opportunity to take part in a Master Class with internationally respected clowning and physical theatre expert, Emil Wolk. His extraordinary range of training influences read somewhat like the genealogy of contemporary clowning and he brings a skill set that combines knowledge of both character and acrobatic-based clowning, and other forms of physical theatre, vaudeville, comedy, all in combination with a thorough knowledge of mainstage theatre.

This Master Class will occur across two half days of the Conference, ensuring delegates are still able to attend and take part in other Conference programming. It will focus on working with circus and physical theatre artists who currently have a work in progress, and who feel they would benefit from Emil's experience in developing their work.

The Master Class will have strictly limited numbers, so if you are interested in attending, please email an expression of interest that includes details of your professional background and about the work you propose to bring to the Master Class to Freya - EMAIL

One of our aims at this Conference is to support professional, contemporary clowns and to develop their work, so we are thrilled to present clown master classes with Emil, as part of our continuing effort to address the need for national, world-class clown training in Australia. The knowledge shared with our performing community will be invaluable!
