Artist Networking Events 2009
Published: Jan 23, 2009 - 12:00 AM
We are a regional organisation working with art practitioners, groups and organisations based in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire. We have been widely recognised for our training courses and conferences, one-to-one advisory services, and for our ability to link BME artists with the work of a wide range of funding bodies and support agencies.Mainstream Partnership was set up to address the low numbers of Black, Asian and Chinese arts practitioners accessing and taking up opportunities offered by the mainstream arts and business support sectors.
We are proud to present our Artist Networking Events 2009.
Join us to network with other BME art practitioners and our key stakeholder members from across Nottinghamshire.
The New Art Exchange, Nottingham
Tuesday 3 February, 5-7pm
Membership to Mainstream Partnership is currently free and we encourage Black and minority ethnic art practitioners including refugees, asylum seekers, economic migrants and new arrivals from across the different art forms - music, dance, drama, poetry, visual arts/media, textiles, literature, combined arts including festivals, carnivals and melas and other forms of artistic expression – to join a dynamic regional organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in culturally diverse arts/culture.
