The 6th Dance Marathon of Madrid will be held on June 1-2. A 24 hour non-stop dance event with over 150 companies and dancers, each performing for a maximum of 10 minutes each. Apply now for this popular event, open to all nationalities, dance styles and ages. Prizes awarded.

HO CAN APPEAR?
- They will be able to appear individually or in group, all the persons or companies wish it of any nationality and age.

- The institutions participants (schools, conservatoires, academies, etc ...), they will not be able to be represented by a number superior to 3 choreographies.

- No choreographer or interpreter will be able to present any more than 3 choreographies though they are companies or groups with dist

- All the minor participants of age will be able to accede to the enclosure accompanied of 1 tutor, who must request it across the request of inscription for his due accreditation (ONLY valid to accede to the zone of wardrobes)

WHAT TO DO TO REGISTER?
- The interested parties, will refill a paper of inscription that they will make come to the Theatre of Madrid in the term on established (May 1, 2007). There is a limited number of companies for the duration of the Marathon.

- The participants will pay a quota of inscription of 25 €, that will have to join to the Theatre of Madrid the following account of La Caixa 2100 2129 92 0200253658 Sending to the following number of fax: 91 7405512 or email maratondanza@artibus.es the receipt corresponding to the revenue with the request of inscription of the Marathon.

- It will have pay a quota of inscription for every performance.
The inscribed persons, will have to send a recording in CD or Minidisc perfectly published (even with the silences if they were) and exclusively with the music that they will use for his interpretation. To:

- The companies that take live music are forced to realize the pertinent tests of sound when the organization says.

- The tests will offer on order of inscription up to fitting 2 days in the schedule of the theatre, there will be tests that will not be able to be realized or for impossibility of the company or for impossibility of time. DOESN'T GUARANTEES THAT ALL THE COMPANIES COULD TEST. To the companies that they could not test there will be facilitated to them the dimension of the space and plane of lighting and there will be allowed to him to bring an alderman who indicates the lighting of his show

WHAT IS THE MARATÓN DE DANZA?
- The duration of the VI MARATÓN DE DANZA DE MADRID will be 24 hours uninterrupted. There will be done the technical pauses necessary for the good development of the Marathon.

- On May 10, there will be realized a public drawing in which there will be defined the order of performance of the companies participants, that it will be communicated due.

WHICH ARE THE PRIZES?
- A juror designated to the effect will evaluate each of the performances, and will trump 9 rewards. The decision of the juror will be irrevocable. This juror will be formed by Critics of Dance, Programmers, The Directors of Theatres and personalities of relief of the world of the Dance. The rewards will consist in:

- Once finished the Marathon, one will proceed to the delivery of prizes, and there will be realized a Show of closing in which they will participate 9 rewarded companies.

- The groups participants promise to respect the procedure of functioning of the MARATÓN DE DANZA and to follow at all time the indications of the organizers of the event.

- The fact of taking part in this contest, implies the total acceptance of the bases.
