The annual convention of the National Association of Broadcasters - is the essential destination for more than 100,000 electronic media executives, trendsetters and visionaries. This event brings together the entire spectrum of media - television and radio broadcast, audio and video production and latest technologies from all corners of the globe.
NAB2007's more than 1.7 million square feet of exhibit space is packed full of the biggest names in media: Sony, Verizon, Microsoft, Google, MySpace, Amazon, DirecTV, Comcast - the list goes on and on. A virtual gateway to the global marketplace, you'll want a first hand look at the latest emerging technologies displayed by more than 1,500 exhibitors.
Here's just a sampling of can't-miss events taking place during the show:
* Tim Russert: Russert will be on hand as NBC's "Meet the Press" is inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame at the Television Luncheon. "Meet the Press" is the longest running program ever on network television, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Monday, April 16, noon.
* David Rehr: NAB's President and CEO will deliver his annual State of the Industry Address regarding the exciting year ahead for America's radio and television broadcasters. Monday, April 16, 9 a.m.
* Rick Dees: Radio personality, Dees, best known for his syndicated weekly top 40 show, will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame at the Radio Luncheon, hosted by CNET.com Editor Brian Cooley. Tuesday, April 17, noon.
