The Culture Unit of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) manages and implements most of the activities of the Culture Programme (2007 – 2013).

The aim of the multi-annual Programme is to encourage and support cultural cooperation within Europe in order to bring the European common cultural heritage to the fore. The Programme proposes funding opportunities to all cultural sections and all categories of cultural operators contributing to the development of cultural cooperation at European level, with a view to encouraging the emergence of European citizenship.

It mainly promotes the trans-national mobility of cultural players, the trans-national circulation of artistic and cultural works and products and the intercultural dialogue.

With a total budget of 400 million EUR for 2007 – 2013 the Programme allows to co-finance around 230 different cultural actions per year.
 

Programme Guide Culture 2007 – 2013

The Guide, focusing on most parts of the Culture Programme, contains all the essential conditions to apply for funding. It introduces a fixed Calendar until 2013 and provides cultural operators with the whole set of funding opportunities under this Programme until 2013.
